Finding a Business

12/20/2011

So you have decided you want to own your own business.  You ask yourself what kind of a business do I want to start?

Do you want to start a traditional business, affiliate business, internet business, or a network marketing business?  This is the first decision you need to make, before starting your new business.  There are many things to consider when starting a business.  One of the first things you need to figure out is the amount of money  you have to start the business.  This will be a key factor in the type of business you can start.

Franchises and brick & mortar businesses are much more expensive to start then Affiliate, Internet, or Networking Businesses.  Brick and mortar businesses generally cost thousands and sometimes hundreds of thousands to start and get up and running.  Internet businesses generally range from no start up costs to a few hundred depending on the business.  I currently run both a traditional Real Estate and Appraisal company and a few internet businesses.  Once you have decided if you are going to open a traditional or internet business, then you need to decide what business you are going to
open.

Really the key to making this is decision is what are you interested in going.  What is your passion, what is your interest?  You must be doing something you are interested in, why, because you are going to spend alot of time working and marketing your business.  Research your interests to find the businesses that are related to your interests.  Make sure to keep a list of the businesses you research.  Once you have some companies you are interested in now is the time to research the companies.  What is the
startup costs, what are the products or services, to they offer support and training.  Support and training offered is many times the most important thing a company can offer you.

Many people start businesses and have no idea what it takes to make a business successful  If you are there by your self with no one to confer with often times those businesses fail.  You must have a good support team when your in business, as it is impossible for a business owner to do everything on their own and succeed.  That is why I suggest a Network Marketing Business to people who have never owned businesses and are now sure how to run and market their business.  In my next blog we will discuss internet and network marketing business.

 Until then be safe,

Getting Started in Your Internet Business

When starting up your new internet business what do you need to do first?

There are alot of people out there advertising businesses, and many of them
are saying no sponsoring, no selling, no recruiting, automated system, takes 10
minutes a day, etc. etc.

My answer is what long lasting business do you know that you can work 10
minutes a day and make a full time income.  I don't know of any, if you
find one, please let me know about it.  Any business that is worth building
that is going to last is going to take time.  The more time you can spend
build your business the faster it will grow.   Which brings me to the
first thing you need to do.

It is research the industry, search the internet to find out the kind of
businesses that are available to you.  You will find there are thousands
and thousands of businesses you can market on the internet.  So you will
have to decide the business that is right for you.  You can find a business
on the internet to market anything you like.  Once you have found something
you are interested in marketing or doing on the internet you need to find a
company you want to be involved with.

Again this will involve research on the company.  What do they
offer?  What is the compensation plan? Who is on the executive
team?   How long are they in business?  Is the company
financially stable, is it newly launched, or a proven entity?  These are
just some of the questions to be answered.  Once you have this information,
there is something just as important as which business and company you decide to
get involve with.  Can you guess what that is?

Well being that you are going to spend a lot of time marketing your business
if you want to be successful an important part is finding a good team of people
to work with.  Since marketing my businesses I have been lucky enough to
find some really great people to work with.  We help eachother build our
businesses and our teams businesses.  This important, because you may not
alway be available to speak with people, but if you work with a good team of
people there is always someone to take care of your team.

Right now we are looking for new people to join us.  We will help them
build their businesses, and to success on the internet.  If you are
interested in speaking with me feel free to email me at billschall2@gmail.com
or Skype bill.schall.  Hope to talk to you soon, please watch for my next
blog.

Happy Holidays to All, Let's make 2012 our year.

Video Conferencing Setup

12/13/2011

With the rising price of oil in the world market, companies have to cut down on certain expenses in order to show a profit. You can cut down the number of times that an employee travels on business trips and use video conferencing to accomplish the same goal with a lot less expense.

But how do you setup video conferencing? The easiest way of saying it is simply by buying the video conferencing system that is right for your company or personal use.

Let’s first talk about the devices that are used to make this work. It's simple all you need is a PC, a headset, and Video Conferencing platform.

Bandwidth was a big issue, a few years ago if you were going to have a conference with multiple speakers and viewers, you would have needed to purchase very expensive systems that few small companies could afford.  Here are some of those systems: A T-1 line for instance gives you only one line of communication. What if you need to speak with different offices simultaneously? For that you would have needed a T-3 line or higher.  Now you can have numerous speakers and 100's of participants over the internet on a PC based web conferencing platform.

The PC based systems use an IP system with Cable or DSL internet service, the same as the one you already have to surf the internet. Lot of people and companies use video conferencing, because their employees are more productive, decisions are made quickly and the company saves money.  Especially today were video conferencing platforms costs have dropped dramatically over the last several years it is no longer cost prohibitive for you to have your own video conferencing and video email systems.

In fact, private companies are not the only one using it as the government, the education and the healthcare sectors, and many others have also taken advantage of this to conduct hearings, teach children, help patients, and conduct internal company meetings with employees who live far from the company headquarters.  Some people even use these platforms for personal use.

If you want to know more about video conferencing, contact me at 631-838-7790 or email billschall@gmail.com.  I can then setup a time for us to get together, and I can show you demonstration of the video conferencing platform and video email system I use to market my companies.

Feel free to contact me at 631-838-7790 or email billschall@gmail.com, looking forward to connecting with you on your conferencing and marketing needs.

Video Conferencing Justification

12/13/2011

When companies have to buy something, it has to be approved by management. With the cost of air travel going up, it is only right to justify the use of video conferencing since it is more affordable to do so in the long and short term.

How do you justify that? Most companies use numbers as their basis in making a decision so if you look at the expense report and notice that a huge chunk is spent on traveling, they will realize that they can cut cost here and use the money saved somewhere else.

But doesn’t video conferencing equipment cost a lot of money and isn’t the system very complex? For a time it was very, but now times have change and video conferencing is now a very cost effective medium. Vendors no longer use ISDN lines and they have now shifted to IP networks.  This is the same system used by the Internet thus making it easy to integrate with other systems and making it cost effective for companies and people to use in their daily.

For those who are concerned about how much it costs, the price of video conferencing equipment has gone down through the years making it more affordable for business and personal use..

A decade ago, a video conferencing system costs $75,000 or even more. Nowadays you can hold web conferences with your PC, Microphone and speakers.  Saving thousands of dollars to communicate with clients, customers, friends, and family members.

Another way to justify the need for this technology is to do a study by interviewing those who have gone on business trips in the past and ask how well it went. Previous reports have shown that traveling takes a toll on your body due to fatigue and stress. By the time they get to where they are going, their mind is not focused with what needs to be done thus decreasing their productivity.

You can also argue the other benefits of video conferencing like the ability to increase the sales and product development cycles, improve the quality of communications, better delivery of training and coaching to the other offices as well an improvement in the quality of the work after a staff meeting.

There have also been other improvements both in audio and video quality so you get to communicate with the other party in real time.  But the best part about such systems is that they are user friendly since most of the systems currently available are menu driven so you don’t need to study a manual inside out and no special expertise is needed.

When management has approved your request, it is time to go out shopping for the right conferencing platform. Most platforms today have similar features chat, whiteboards, desktop sharing, file transfer capablities and more.  The differences are mainly cost and the stability of the video conferencing platform.

Do I need to say more to help you justify the need for video conferencing systems?  Maybe not so do your research and use the system to your potential.  Feel free to contact me for more information and I can demonstrate the video conferencing platform I use to communicate with my teams and sales people.   Contact me at 631-838-7790 or email me at billschall@gmail.com, to set up a time we can talk, and I can demonstrate the video conferencing and video email platform.

How Does Video Conferencing Work?????

12/13/2011

People are always hesitant about change. For business owners—who want to  utilize and take advantage of the benefits of modern technology—it can be hard for them to introduce and explain video conferencing as the majority of people will resist the idea. This is because some people — especially
those who have been doing the samething for long — are not open to the world of new routines and adjustments especially involving technology. But, there is still a way to do this—by explaining how does video conferencing work.

 In layman's terms

To make people understand what video conferencing is, you must make them understand how it works. Basically, video conferencing refers to a  communications technology where video and voice are integrated to be able to connect to other people or users that are in other areas. The idea behind it is
to break the barriers in communication by creating a way where in people in two different places can talk and see each other as if they were in the same room in real time. Real time refers to the duration where conversation in updated and the parties can exchange thoughts and communicate without delay.

For a video conferencing to work, each party should have a personal computer, a web cam, a microphone, and a broadband Internet with a high-speed connection. These pieces of equipment are the basic ones that are needed for a simple videoconference.  In more sophisticated areas and business
set-ups such as offices, more pieces of video conferencing equipment are being used.

These include video, wall mounts, table tops microphones, and such. They also have more complex video conferencing systems and avail of video conferencing services to ensure hassle free communication during meetings.

Unlike in the voice-only technology, video conferencing enables people to have natural conversations using a good bandwidth. A good bandwidth is quite important for video conferencing because it makes seamless voice and video streaming possible.

When it comes to options, there are different types of video conferencing ,where people can choose from: the "point-to-point" or the "multi-point". The  "point-to-point" video conferencing is considered as the most common and basic type that is being used by so many users worldwide. It uses individual IP
addresses and connects two different users from different places directly. This type of video conferencing is quite popular in home set ups and in some other small offices.  "Point-to-point" video conferencing also serves as a form video phone to many.  However, it can only connect two personal computers.

The "multi-point" conferencing, on the other hand, come is several variations. It has a reflector and a multipoint connector unit (MCU)  that serves as "multipoint bridge" that enables two or more three or more users.  Here, a central hub is used to connect users and can also serves a "stand-alone"
device or as a computer server itself. In multi-point, room systems as well as roll-about systems can be added to the personal computers themselves.   In more technical terms, the "IEEE" standard serves as a guide to the status  and development of video conferencing. Here, there are two guides: the H.320 standard that says how the process operates using ISDN telephone circuits and  the "H.323" that explains how video conferencing operates using an Internet
(TCP/IP or just IP).

Understanding how video conferencing works primarily depends on the willingness of the person to adapt to changes.  The best way to get a person to understand the benefits and opportunity tha video conferencing affords it to give the person a demonstration of the how the system works and how easy it is to use to communicate with clients and prospects.

Here are two links that explain the Video Conferencing System I use in my business on a weekly, sometimes daily basis.  This is an internet based system used by many large companines around the world, but is very cost effective for the home, small, and medium size businesses:

What Is The Easy Way to Make Money on The Internet??

12/13/2011

Many people have tried to answer this question?  Is it affiliate businesses, retail, wholesale, MLM, network marketing?  Well here is the answer to the question, people have been asking:

THERE IS NO EASY WAY.

Making money on the internet is the same as any other business venture to be successful it takes consistency and persistency to make money.  Most people who get into internet businesses think you put up a website and people will automatically flock to it and make you money.  Well that is not the way it happens, you need to be consistently working on driving traffic to the places you want them to go.  Whether it be a website, capture or splash page, a webinar, or get people to contact you directly.

There are many people on the internet trying to get you to purchase their push button systems, that will make you a fortune overnight.  Do you really think If people had this push button system that makes money over night they would work so hard to sell it to you?

Other people will tell you that they are going to build your business for you, just join me and I will build your business.  Let’s get real no one person can do that, no one can build a business for thousands of people by themselves.  The thing these people have that you don’t is a following.   You have heard that the money is in the list, well not exactly true.  THE MONEY IS IN THE FOLLOWING.   You say you don’t have a following or a list?  Then the next best thing is to have a TEAM of people willing to work together to towards a common goal.

This is the reason we formed our team Viral Team Builders, we offer free training and webinars were you can invite your prospects to come and learn how to market on the internet the correct way and build the relationships required to succeed online.  If you are interested in learning how to market online the correct way, please join us here:

Viral Team Builders was formed by marketers that have built teams in a few different online businesses.  Many of the leaders have been owners of their own offline businesses as well and built successful offline businesses.

So the question is what form Viral Team Builders?  Many of us realized that we did not own our businesses the businesses owned us.  If we didn't do the marketing, put the deals together, and followed it to fruitition then it did not get done.  We all decided we wanted more freedom to do the things we wanted to do.  So the solution was internet Many people have asked us this question in the past.  Let's start with a little background.  Viral marketing or online businesses.

We have all put teams together in different businesses only to have the companies fail or go out of business.  The reason all our efforts were put into one business.  We learned that we needed multiple streams of income to ensure our future success.  We have reviewed many different businesses and decided to put our efforts together to build a team of dedicated marketers and help them all make money on the internet.

We are going to put together the tools people need to succeed and the training to use it.  Please got to our site at http://viralteambuilders.com/index.php?spon=1

The Different Types of Video Conferencing Systems

12/13/2011

Are you in need of something that can boost your business by more than half and still be able to save on the cost of production? Do you want to be able to monitor your factories and met with your staff on a regular basis though you are miles away from corporate? Web videoconferencing allows you to work on these things without having to worry about cost and impact on the business.

All that you need to do is just a website away. The need for expensive equipment has also been taken away since all the equipment you would need is inside the Internet and all of it is waiting for you. So let’s start web videoconferencing.

So how exactly does web videoconferencing work? Well, like the name suggests its videoconferencing through the web or the Internet. A participant needs a computer to start off and Internet access. Basically that’s all you need. Other things that may or may not be necessary are web cams, web conferencing software and a website to conduct the virtual meeting. Usually websites may refer to URL’s that act as the conference room for the meeting.

There are different kinds of web videoconferencing and different kinds of purposes. First one is the web meeting (web videoconferencing), this usual kind of web conference that let’s participants interact in a controlled Internet environment. Usually CEO’s and business executives have web meetings when they are out of town and on business. Not only can they visit their site often they can keep close tabs on people. Usually Web conferencing allow people on the go to keep up with the requirements of the office.

Live video is another kind of conferencing over the Internet or what young people call video chat. live video or video chat is just like text chatting only it’s done through the web cam. Just like web video conferencing live video is more or less like it in purpose and setup. While web videoconferencing uses software to support the video format of the live video this is because of the limited number of formats that can be streamed over the web.

Another kind of web conferencing tool is VoIP or Voice over the Internet Phone. The concept of VoIP is no longer new to us. Some people have started using VoIP software and sites as their primary phone for business, personal and technology use. Because of it’s virtual endless capacity to call inside and outside countries and not to mention computer call functionality.

That means even without a regular or mobile phone people can communicate anytime anywhere. Now if you apply that to whatever your web videoconferencing needs that you have, you are sure to get your money’s worth.

And lastly a dedicated Internet website that would cater to all the web conferencing needs that you have. As the name mentions it is a dedicated server that acts as the conference room of your company and a gateway for all other video conferencing you will have even outside the company.

Since this is a new tool for your company to use in it’s quest to become one of the best in the world, it would be wise to master all the requirements and the processes of web videoconferencing to reap the best results from it.

I have compared many of the video conferencing platforms, right now there are three major players in the web video conferencing arena they are Webex, GoToMeeting, and WowWe.  Of the three platforms WowWe is the one in my opinion that has the most functionality and most cost effective of the three.  Inaddition to video conferencing WowWe offers Video Email included in the cost of the video conferencing platform.  WowWe's cost is less than half the cost of the other two platforms.  Check out WowWe here at http://topvideomail.com  This is a must have platform for any business.

The Definition of Video Conferencing

12/13/2011

Executives in companies hold meetings regularly to see how each department is doing. If you are working for a large company with offices in various locations in the US, you can pay for airfare and travel expenses or do something better with the money such as employing video conferencing.

The definition of video conferencing is simple. This allows two parties to talk with one another and send data. The system enables you to see and hear the other person which is as some say, the high tech version of using the telephone.

Video conferencing can be used for a lot of things. Private corporations can use it to make their employees more productive, schools can use it to train students who can’t come to school and can only learn through distance education, build relationships with people you have never seen for a long time and so forth.

If you think that video conferencing goes from just one point to another, you are mistaken as you can talk to others at the same time. This enables you to spread your message globally and get to see who you are talking to.

Perhaps the beauty of video conferencing is the ability to communicate with others in real time. It is like watching the news as it happens but this can only happen if you use a higher bandwidth so the feed is not interrupted.

You will also need a higher compression system to transmit and receive which also varies depending on the kind of system that you will be getting.

But in general, video conferencing itself takes places in the internet from PC to PC. You don’t have to buy an expensive one if you are using this at home. All you need is a camera, a microphone, a modem and the software that can easily be downloaded for free from the web.

There are two types of video conferencing systems. The first is called proprietary and the is standards based.

If you choose to use proprietary, applications can only work through a single vendor since it can only be accessed through closed API’s. This means that it is not compatible with the applications of other vendors. The standard on the other hand is more flexible making it better to use compared to the latter.

The network connection is done through a integrated digital services network (ISDN) or through Internet protocol (IP) lines. ISDN is very common in Europe because it is much easier and less complex than the IP’s but those of us who live across the Atlantic think differently.

Many of us see that using this network connection is more convenient because you are assigned your own IP address so you are sure that information that is sent or received is secure.

The definition of video conferencing is simple. It is new way of talking to another person or party since you don’t only hear them but also get to see how they look like. Check out this http://theopportunityplace.com/iwowwe.html

The Aim of Video Conferencing

12/13/2011

There was a time we had to send a telegram so someone will receive our message. Eventually, the telephone was invented until we now have a web. As you can see, the development of technology has made it easier for us to communication which happens to be also the aim of video conferencing.

But what is video conferencing? It is a technology that enables users to see and hear one another in real time so people can convey their message and get a response. For this to work, you will need a camera, headset with a microphone, a processor and the software.  You can buy each one separately or get a set that offers this in one package.

The aim of video conferencing is different depending on what industry this will be used in. For instance, those in education use this medium to promote distance learning to those who can’t afford to attend regular classes to get a degree.

The justice department has used this to get the testimonies of witnesses so they no longer have to be brought to court to testify against a suspect.  Hospitals use video conferencing to talk about the condition of a patient so something better can be done to help them recover from an injury or illness. While corporations use this medium to make business decisions.

Firms that conduct market research can tabulate the responses that have been given out by the respondents so the results will be released quickly.

Surely, you have heard of online dating. But video conferencing takes it another step forward as you get to see and talk to people that have potential instead of just reading their profile and looking at their picture.

Aside from talking, you can also do file sharing so two people can view the same document and make changes instantaneously. If something is unclear and you have to write it down, you can use the white board thus making this technology work for you as a virtual board room.

But in order for more people to enjoy video conferencing, more research has to be done to make it better than it was before. You have to remember that 10 years ago there were not that many people who were interested in getting it because it was too expensive to purchase. Now you there is video conferencing available that almost anyone can afford.

Just to show you how far video conferencing has gone, people can now use it to playback previous sessions, browse the web, send SMS messages and view slide presentations.

Regardless of how it is used, the aim of video conferencing is still the same and that is to get in touch with someone that could be in another state or country. It builds and fosters relationships, increases productivity and reduces the cost often incurred when an employee has to travel on a business trip that costs the company money.

Given that video conferencing has benefits those who have not taken advantage of this technology must do so, but this can only happen if they are able to determine the aim of video conferencing that is applicable to their setting.
