Do you want to start a traditional business, affiliate business, internet business, or a network marketing business? This is the first decision you need to make, before starting your new business. There are many things to consider when starting a business. One of the first things you need to figure out is the amount of money you have to start the business. This will be a key factor in the type of business you can start.
Franchises and brick & mortar businesses are much more expensive to start then Affiliate, Internet, or Networking Businesses. Brick and mortar businesses generally cost thousands and sometimes hundreds of thousands to start and get up and running. Internet businesses generally range from no start up costs to a few hundred depending on the business. I currently run both a traditional Real Estate and Appraisal company and a few internet businesses. Once you have decided if you are going to open a traditional or internet business, then you need to decide what business you are going to
open.
Really the key to making this is decision is what are you interested in going. What is your passion, what is your interest? You must be doing something you are interested in, why, because you are going to spend alot of time working and marketing your business. Research your interests to find the businesses that are related to your interests. Make sure to keep a list of the businesses you research. Once you have some companies you are interested in now is the time to research the companies. What is the
startup costs, what are the products or services, to they offer support and training. Support and training offered is many times the most important thing a company can offer you.
Many people start businesses and have no idea what it takes to make a business successful If you are there by your self with no one to confer with often times those businesses fail. You must have a good support team when your in business, as it is impossible for a business owner to do everything on their own and succeed. That is why I suggest a Network Marketing Business to people who have never owned businesses and are now sure how to run and market their business. In my next blog we will discuss internet and network marketing business.
Until then be safe,
